About us
AEI® is a limited liability company. Our aircraft maintenance, however, is anything but limited. We provide comprehensive services, build a network of flexible line maintenance stations, and show up exactly where an aircraft (or a customer) needs us. If a part is needed, we source it. If intervention is required, we handle it. If peace of mind before departure is the goal, we deliver that too.
We turn passion for aviation into reliable performance. In practice, this means aircraft that are safe, technically prepared, and ready to fly without unnecessary drama. We build on discipline, teamwork, and respect for the craft.
Simply put: we make sure aircraft fly — and that you can rely on us, even when something lights up that definitely shouldn’t.
Fifteen years of keeping things alive
We operate stations in Slovakia, Armenia, Moldova, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. In other words, if an aircraft has a technical question in this part of the world, chances are we’re already nearby. And yes – we run 24/7. Aircraft don’t check the clock, so neither do we.
Our teams move fast, think clearly, and keep safety exactly where it belongs: at the top. The goal is simple – keep aircraft in the air and downtime on the ground where it belongs.
As proud members of the Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA), we deliver certified spare parts worldwide. When a part is needed, we don’t panic – we activate the logistics machine. With a growing global network, we manage material flow efficiently, shorten lead times, and make sure the right component reaches the right aircraft before anyone starts saying the word “AOG” too loudly.
„We help each other, we face challenges together, we encourage each other, we grow up together. We are AEI®.“
Our history

2010
Two engineers, one vision, and probably too much coffee
In 2010, AEI® was born. We started building long-term partnerships with Lufthansa Technik and Wizz Air, which was a polite way of saying: “Let’s prove ourselves from day one.” That same year, we received approval for Airbus A320 maintenance. Not a bad start for a company that was still figuring out where to put the coffee machine.

2014
Because aviation doesn’t believe in borders
We opened AEI LLC in Yerevan, Armenia and officially became “international” in more than just our name. We expanded into consumable and expendable materials supply (yes, the small things that keep big things flying) and added approval for Boeing 737 maintenance. At this point, we realized: growth is addictive.

2015
New city. Same precision
We opened a station in Košice to support Wizz Air. Line maintenance quickly taught us a timeless truth: aircraft rarely break at convenient times. We adapted. We optimized. We learned to love night shifts.

2016
Capital city. Capital responsibility
We expanded to Bratislava and began providing maintenance services for Ryanair. If you can keep Europe’s busiest low-cost fleets moving on schedule, you earn your stripes. Quietly. Consistently. Without drama.

2017
Chișinău, here we come
A new station in Chișinău meant a bigger team, more aircraft, and more responsibility. It also meant another timezone to coordinate and another place where someone says, “It’s just a small defect,” and we answer, “Let’s double-check.”

2020
When the world slowed down, we didn’t
We obtained approval for Fokker 100 line maintenance and began cooperation with the Slovak Government Flight Service on Airbus A319 maintenance. While aviation globally hit pause, we pressed “upgrade.”

2022
More types. More responsibility. Same discipline
Fokker 100 approvals secured. Cooperation with the Slovak Government Flight Service on Airbus A319 launched. Embraer approvals followed shortly after — because aviation never likes to stay still.

2023
From line to full control
We received approval for Fokker 100 base maintenance. Translation: not just quick fixes anymore – comprehensive, in-depth work. The kind where planning, precision and patience meet.

2024
Why stop at aircraft?
Major expansion year: Approval for Airbus A330 and Leonardo AW189 helicopter base maintenance. And because we like challenges, we founded HeliBuddy in Hradec Králové, focused on helicopter maintenance. Fixed wings. Rotary wings. Same commitment.

2025
Norwich: tea, discipline, and new horizons
We crossed new frontiers by establishing a station in Norwich, United Kingdom. Different accent. Same standards. Because airworthiness speaks one universal language.

2026
What will be next?
AEI® – Always working for you.
Our commitments

In practice, this means that AEI® remains committed to supporting the needs of society and contributing to the communities in which we operate.
Business commitment
At AEI®, a customer-oriented approach is essential for long-term success. Ultimately, it is the customer who defines what a business is and how it should perform. We strive to consistently deliver more than what has been agreed with our customers. At the same time, we believe that responsible and profitable business contributes to the prosperity of the wider community. Our goal is to support economic value while helping improve people’s living standards. Sustainable profitability is necessary to ensure stable operations and continuous growth of the company. However, generating profit by overcharging customers is never our objective. Customer satisfaction is important, but it never takes precedence over quality and safety. Our ambition is continuous improvement in everything we do.
Human commitment
The growth of AEI® is built on the people who work here. We provide employment, fair compensation, and an environment that encourages productivity, responsibility, and discipline. We actively support both the personal and professional development of our employees, helping them grow alongside the company while embodying AEI’s values. Our core values
We believe that delivering the highest quality products and services begins with strong core values. These values form the foundation of AEI® and guide everything we do. When they are truly shared and respected, we can fulfil our mission – bringing together people with the same principles to build aviation more effectively.

Passion
Our people approach their work with genuine passion. It drives innovation, inspires continuous improvement, and enables us to meet – and often exceed – our customers’ expectations.

Discipline
Discipline is essential to accomplishing any mission. In our environment, it means taking full responsibility for our work and consistently following established rules and procedures. Through discipline, we ensure reliability, safety, and long-term success.

Working together!
We know that success is never achieved alone. Our partners and customers are an essential part of our journey. Aviation is a close-knit community where collaboration, trust, and mutual support allow everyone to move forward together.
Our mission

Our mission is to connect people who share the same values and, together, build a more effective and reliable aviation industry. While providing services that generate profit is a natural purpose of any business, our ambition goes beyond financial results. Profit is important for the health and sustainability of a company – much like blood is essential for the human body – but it is not our only priority.
At AEI®, we believe lasting success comes from people who respect shared values and work toward a common mission. For us, success is not measured by becoming the biggest or the richest, but by building a strong organization founded on integrity, professionalism, and trust. We strive to create an environment where employees can grow, discover their potential, and genuinely enjoy their work. When people feel connected to the mission and proud of what they do, excellence naturally follows.
