Outline of services
The overall goal of aircraft maintenance is to achieve minimum time the aircraft is grounded and in this way provides maximum time to the airline company to utilize the aircraft. Overall time the aircraft has to be grounded due to maintenance reasons is caused by the following:
- Compulsory scheduled maintenance performed on the aircraft (determined by the aircraft manufacturer and complemented by the airline company based on the approval of the Civil Aviation Authority)
- Non-scheduled maintenance (inevitable in case when an aircraft defect does not allow safe operation of the aircraft)
